THESE ARE THE BEST SPOONS

I received a few different sets of spoons as baby gifts when I was pregnant. When my baby started solids I decided to test all the different kinds of spoons I got and by far these are THE BEST! The soft spoon is great for chewing and working teething gums and it's also the perfect size for baby's mouth. Some of the spoons I found to be too hard or too wide and these seem to be ideal! THIS IS THE STROLLER YOU WANT

Many new moms register for the giant "travel systems" that last through multiple stages, have lots of bells and whistles, you name it! This is exactly what I tried to avoid when I was registering. I wanted the lightest weight, simplest car seat and stroller system possible. All I could think of was how I would have to lug it in and out of my car everytime I went somewhere and I did NOT want something bulky. So I opted for the Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat and the Graco SnugRider Stroller Frame. It has been FABULOUS and I can't say enough great things about it! BEAUTIFUL BABY BOOK

Being that I am a designer, a well designed Baby Book was very important to me. I didn't want any silly animals or characters, I wanted something modern and beautiful. I searched all over the internet until I found Brella Baby. It turns out another mom had the same problem with finding a great baby book so she made some herself! I got the "Ella" Baby Book and it is exactly what I was hoping to find. It is a beautiful book to collect all of our memories in and I will definitely cherish italways. THE PERFECT HIGH CHAIR

When I was pregnant and registering for baby items I asked all the moms I knew to give me feedback on what items they loved and didn't love so much. One of my friends recommended the Chicco Caddy Hook On Chair. It has quickly turned out to be one of my favorite items. My husband had doubts about it's stability but once we hooked it up we were both surprised by how incredibly stable and secure the chair really is. I love that I can sit at the table and feed my baby while we all enjoy a meal together. It allows your baby to be a part of the family instead of off to the side in a traditional high chair. I feel like it's a fabulous start to teaching my baby that meal time is family time. The clean up is super easy too because I only have the table to wipe down instead of various trays and parts. This chair is also perfect for traveling or going to restaurants because it folds up nice and small. I truly love this item! It would for sure be on my must have list for a new mom.

BABY MONITOR

So I was a little slow to purchase certain things like a baby monitor. I knew it was a more expensive

item and it's not a very fun one either. I had other things I wanted more! However, a couple months ago I realized that I had to have one. So I went to Target to buy a monitor and didn't do any research ahead of time. I found myself staring at an aisle full of them ranging in price from $17 to over $200! What was I to do? Well my friends, I bought the cheapest one they had. I decided to test out the one for $17.59 and if it didn't work, I would take it back. I have now used it for a couple months and it was a great purchase! It works perfectly, it picks up every single itty bitty sound. I can even hear birds chirping and cars driving by outside my baby's window. It will pick up some static if the monitor and receiver are too close or facing each other. DIAPER BAGS

I have decided it is time for a new diaper bag! When I first found out that I was pregnant I rushed out and bought a diaper bag from an expensive designer store that was what I thought I needed. It was simple and plain so I thought my husband would be happy to carry it and it had LOTS of compartments for baby things. After carrying it for the past few months though, I have come to realize that it is simply not for me. The compartments are so annoying when filling the bag and there are so many folds and pockets I can't ever find anything! I have also finally given in and started using my diaper bag as my purse, so my husband rarely ever carries it. So at last I am on the hunt for the perfect bag! I want a cute patterned and simple tote bag. No pockets or compartments for me! I want it nice and open so I can just toss everything in and go. HOT SLINGS

The purchase of my Hotsling was by far one the best baby purchases I have made. Meadow and I both LOVE it! I have been putting her in the sling since she was 4 weeks old and it has made all the difference in my ability to clean the house, eat meals, and run errands! It truly allows moms to do what we do best-multitasking! I even put my baby in the sling to work on a painting for her room. It is so much easier to take her out of the carseat and put her in the sling than to lug a heavy carseat around and try to put it in the shopping cart. She is much happier in the sling because she is close to her mom and all snuggly.
