COOL CRAFT!
I LOVE this craft project! I think I may see if some of my mommy friends want to make these for our babies. Check it out here on one of my favorite blogs.

BABY'S FIRST ART SUPPLIES
I think nothing is more exciting than getting new art supplies, especially fresh, yummy, delicious crayons! I am so excited about the TaDoodles line from Crayola for babies. There are markers, stamps, and my personal favorite, crayons all in a fat sqautty ball shape for baby to grip. They make great birthday gifts for baby's first birthday too! I am putting them together as little art kits with refill crayons and scribble pads.

POTATO STAMPING
I recently hosted a wine and craft night for all my mommy friends and we potato stamped onesies! It was so much fun and our babies all have the cutest new onesies now. Potato stamping is a really simple process and it can be done to make cards, wrapping paper, and of course baby clothes! You can learn how to do it here on Martha Stewart's website. Some of my friends insisted that they were not crafty but everyone's onesies turned out just adorable! Below are the baby clothes I made for my baby!

BABY'S FIRST ART PROJECT
I have been dying to do art projects with my little one! I cannot wait until she is truly old enough to play with paints and crayons. In the mean time though, I found a fun a way to make a keepsake and get her in the spirit of it! For Father's Day cards we made foot print cards. I used some plain white cardstock and some screen printing ink from the craft store and painted her foot and then printed it on the cards. The result was a simple little keepsake that I have also decided to start using as Thank You cards for the many gifts she keeps receiving. They are so easy and quick to make and Meadow had a blast just getting messy! I signed and dated the back of each card, treating them like little pieces of artwork.
